Food & Beverage manager


REPORTS TO: General Manager
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for co-ordinating all phases of group meeting/banquet functions held in the Hotel; coordinate these activities on a daily basis; assist clients in program planning and menu selection.
Solicit local group Food & Beverage business; maintain the services and reputation of Your Hotel and act as a management representative to group clients.

Education: Post Graduate or Degree or three years Diploma in hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in similar Job role or minimum 3 years experience as Banquet Supervisor. Proven track records.

Stock Controller
Reporting to the Financial Controller and General Manager, the Food & Beverage Controller role is vital in ensuring that all food and beverage costs are recorded, analysed and controlled as best as possible.
The Food & Beverage Cost Controller will record food and beverage revenue through the POS system by conducting spot checks and communicating any shortages to management so that the business is controlled in most efficient way. The role also involves ensuring the security, flow and maintenance of stock throughout the whole building.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate for the role will:
  • Have previous experience in a high volume finance environment
  • Producing consumption reports for each financial period to ensure that each outlet has an accurate Cost of sale against its revenue
  • To ensure stock takes includes all kitchens, stores and outlets
  • Produce reports form management to use to help their business. A monthly F&B pack to be produce detailing items sold, performance of business and discrepancies
  • Have experience of checking the entering of delivery notes and invoices
  • Be able to maintain and report any upkeep that is not being maintained to Purchasing Manager
  • Ensure the correct record of food and beverage flow throughout the building
  • Be responsible for ensuring all requisitions are entered into the system accurately
  • Conduct spot checks in all stock storing areas to ensure that food and beverage stock is stored and maintained in an orderly fashion
  • Have experience of adhering to hotel & company procedures
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Pastry Chef

The Opportunity: A Pastry Cook responsible for preparing bread and pastry items according to schedules and business volume, that meet quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Room Attendant

The Room Attendant is responsible to clean and maintain guest rooms and surrounding areas, and provide guest services on the guest floors in accordance with the Standards, guidelines and policies established by Seafront Residences & Hotel in order to ensure friendly, efficient and customer orientated service in a clean and orderly environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

1. High School education or equivalent experience.
2. Service orientated; Able to take ownership and initiative
3. English speaking is a must and work authorization in Gambia is a must
