1. PRESS RELEASE

 

 Section 12 (7) (a) of The Gambia Public Procurement Act 2014  states  that the Authority  shall publish a quarterly public procurement bulletin which shall contain information germane to public  procurement, including proposed procurement notices, notices of invitation to tender and contract award information”

 

 In observance of the said provision, The Gambia Public Procurement Authority wishes to inform all Procuring Organisations that its Platform for the Publication of Procurement Notices is now updated and that it is now mandatory for all Procuring Organisations to henceforth publish their procurement notices on GPPA Website by providing a Soft or Hard Copy of the notice to our Information Technology Department. The following are the charges levied on the content and duration of the publication:

 

Full Page Advertisement D3.000 - for a duration of 1 week.

Half Page Advertisement D1, 500 - for a duration of 1 week

GPPA COMPLIANCE VARIABLES FOR YEAR 2015 AND BEYOND

-          A REMINDER –

In accordance with section 13 of The Gambia Public Procurement Authority Act, The GPPA is mandated to conduct random annual compliance reviews on procuring organizations and accordingly inform Cabinet and the PAC/PEC of the National Assembly on their respective compliance levels.

The table below shows the current variables and the score each variable carries.
